Susanna and Richard Rodriguez

Life is too short to spend inside

We are married digital nomads who would rather be on a trail, under the stars, paddling a quiet river, or chasing snow than sitting still for too long.

6 years living and working on the road
5 years married, still saying yes to detours
Any season hikes, paddles, snow days, and camp nights
Home base the United States, with plenty still to discover
Travel journals, camera gear, and coffee laid out before a day outside

About us

Hi, we are Susanna and Richard.

Married five years and digital nomads for six, we started chasing the outdoors together after meeting in Da Nang, Vietnam, getting married in Bali, and spending years wandering through Asia, Australia, Africa, and Europe.

These days we are back in the United States, which keeps reminding us that there is so much to explore in our own backyard. We hike, camp, kayak, snowboard, ski, snowshoe, and say yes to just about any adventure that sounds memorable.

If you ever meet us out in the wild, say hi. We probably have trail mix to share.

How we like to get outside

Not extreme. Just out there.

We are not here to make adventure feel intimidating. We like trips that are beautiful, a little messy, and easy to imagine yourself trying.

Trail mornings

Coffee, a weather check, and the optimistic belief that we packed enough snacks.

Camp nights

Simple dinners, dusty boots, and the kind of tired that feels earned.

Snow days

Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and warming back up as soon as possible.

Adventure we keep talking about

Gorges Du Verdon

Turquoise water, limestone cliffs, and a relaxed paddle that still feels wildly memorable.
